报告题目：Open Data for Analysts and Programmers
报告人：Jyrki Nummenmaa（Full Professor，School of Information Sciences of University of Tampere, Finland）
Various government organizations on national and municipal level have been active in recent years opening up their data. This development is particularly active in the USA and in Europe, but for example Shanghai local government has opened data and organized an open data competition for developers. In this talk we will discuss the open data development in different places, particularly in Finland. We will address the questions such as what kind of data is available, why has it been made available, who is using it, and what are the application programmers’ and data analysts’ possibilities in the world of increasingly open data.
